What is the IPI Golf Club?
The IPI Golf Club is an organization that was established to service the need of golfers with NO membership in any golf club to have their own true and certified handicap index. This handicap index is recognized by the Federation of Golf Clubs (Phils.), Inc. and may be used in Federation club sponsored tournaments and group play.
How do I join the IPI Golf Club?
You may join by simply filling up the IPI Golf Club Application Form and submit online or fax to (632) 712-8485. The IPI Golf Club Applicants shall receive information status regarding the registration.
How much do I have to pay to join the IPI Golf Club and how do I remit payment?
The annual fee is One Thousand One Hundred Pesos (PhP 1,100.00), VAT inclusive. Payments are accepted in all MANILABANK branches nationwide click here for list of Manilabank branches or may be sent at the IPI offices located at 5/F FCI Bldg., 1474 Ma. Clara St. Sampaloc, Manila or Room 1904, 19/F Herrera Tower, Herrera corner Valero Streets, Salcedo Village, Makati City.

What do I get from the PhP 1,100.00 annual fee payment?
Even if you're not a member of any golf club, you will have the privilege of getting your own true and certified handicap index monthly based on your games played in the participating golf clubs. Your handicap index, recent scores and game statistics will be made available on the Internet for your convenience in accessing them anytime, anywhere, plus availability of your handicap index through text messaging or SMS. You will also receive a start-up kit inclusive of the Personalized Preprinted Card (Membership Card) that will entitle you to privileges and discounts in various establishments click here for list of establishments, Prepaid Internet Card worth PhP 100.00. Not to mention the invitation that will be sent to you to join various tournaments organized by the IPI Golf Club.
When and how will I get my handicap index?
Upon receipt of payment, it will take at least six (6) weeks before the participating clubs may encode the scores of the IPI Golf Club Members. System update to include the names of new IPI Golf Club members in the participating golf clubs is done every end of the month. Scorecards will be kept by the participating golf clubs and shall be encoded after the said system update.
It is important that you indicate your FULL REGISTERED NAME and IPI GOLF CLUB IDENTIFICATION NUMBER on your submitted and authenticated scorecards at ALL TIMES to ensure proper encoding of the scorecards.
A minimum of 5 games played from the participating golf clubs will be required from each IPI Golf Club Member to be able to obtain a Handicap Index from the date of confirmation of approved registration. Scores shall be authenticated and encoded by the participating golf clubs and cut-off date for submission of scores will be the 22nd of every month, except for months of February, March, December where there are less number of working days, cut-off will be the 20th of every month. The encoded scores shall be the basis of the next month's handicap index and will be dependent on the participating golf clubs.
Example, if you have received your personalized preprinted card with your IPI Golf Club Identification Number on August 5, 2002, you may start playing in any of the participating golf clubs. Your name will be included in the system update at the end of August, and if you were able to play at least 5 games thereafter, your scores shall be encoded by the participating golf clubs before the cut-off date which is September 22, 2002, you will be able to receive your handicap on October 1, 2002.
What do I do if there are disputes on the encoded scores?
You may report all disputes to our help desk support, available from 8:30am to 5:30pm on weekdays for inquiries of members and other requests related to your games played and handicap indexes.
To avoid disputes or minimize, if not, eliminate errors in encoding, please make sure you indicate at ALL TIMES your FULL REGISTERED NAME and your IPI GOLF CLUB IDENTIFICATION NUMBER on your submitted and authenticated scorecards.
How do you compute for the handicap index?
The computation shall conform to the USGA standard of handicap computation and will be based on the encoded and submitted scores from the participating golf clubs.
How do I get hold of my monthly handicap index card?
The IPI Golf Club shall issue a system generated Individual Handicap Index Card (size: 3.5" x 2.1") on a monthly basis, and will be sent via electronic mail to you. Click here for sample Individual Handicap Index Card

What are the participating golf clubs?
The participating golf clubs are (1) Sta. Elena Golf Club, (2) Orchard Golf and Country Club, (3) Wack Wack Golf and Country Club, (4) Canlubang Golf and Country Club, (5) Riviera Golf and Country Club, (6) Sherwood Hills Golf Club, (7) East Ridge Golf Club, (8) Forest Hills Golf and Country Club, (9) Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club, (10) The Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club, (11) Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club and (12) Evercrest Golf Club Resort, Inc.
Does this mean that if I am an IPI Golf Club Member, I can play any time and day I want in any of the participating golf clubs without acquiring golf shares/membership in those clubs?
No. The IPI Golf Club Member shall follow all rules and regulations of the participating golf clubs at all times.
